Dr. Zorka Inić was born on December 4, 1981. During her sixteen years of work at the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia in Belgrade, she has independently performed a large number of surgeries, primarily for breast cancer, followed by thyroid and parathyroid tumors, melanoma, and other skin cancers, as well as sarcoma surgeries. She passed the oral doctoral exam in Oncology on February 18, 2011. and on December 22, 2015, she completed her doctoral academic studies with the dissertation "Immunohistochemical study of neovascularization and proliferative activity of parathyroid gland tumors." On March 27, 2019, she was appointed to the position of clinical assistant in the narrower scientific field of surgery and anesthesiology (general surgery-oncology) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. On November 12, 2019, she enrolled in a subspecialization in Oncology, and she passed the oral exam on June 30, 2021. with a grade of 10. On December 9, 2024, she defended her subspecialty work: "Surgical treatment of young female patients with breast cancer." She has published a large number of papers in international and domestic peer-reviewed journals, where she is either the author or co-author. She is an editor at the Swiss journal "Frontiers in Oncology." She had three invited lectures at oncology congresses: two in Rome in 2019 and 2024, and one in Singapore in 2019, and one oral presentation abroad- Virtual Meeting. She has attended a significant number of international and domestic congresses, where she had accepted papers and oral presentations. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the European School of Oncology (ESO), the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the Serbian Medical Society.

Associate Professor Gülsen Meral graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa School of Medicine in 1994. She became a specialist in paediatrics in 2001 . She is Associate Professor in Pediatrics and worked as a specialist as well as deputy chief physician and chief physician at several hospitals. She was the Rector’s advisor between 2019-2021 at the Northern Cyprus ITU. She is also an Acupuncture instructor. She worked as a Nutrigenetics graduate course and lecturer and gave undergraduate and graduate courses on child development. She has many national and international publications, and worked on editorial boards and as reviewers. She has a Master's Degree in Hospital Management. She has a Turkish language literature undergraduate education. She completed PhD program in Medical Genetics. She is ambitious about poetry and has published five poetry books, as well as being the author of Dancing with Genes.. She is the Founder of the Nutrigenetics and Epigenetics Association, and has memberships in the Green Crescent and Rumelia Association, Istanbul Acupuncture Association, and International Society of Nutrigenetics & Nutrigenomics. She participated in the first and second International Epigenetic Congress as the president. She is still the organizer and educator of the Epigenetic Coaching Program. She is actively giving trainings on Nutrigenetic & Epigenetic Counselling to health professionals from all over the World as a certified CPD program. She continues research and training as the founder and manager of Epigenetic Coaching.

Dr Shapo is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience driving impactful improvements in healthcare. He has proven success in managing largescale population health projects, conducting evidence-based research, and implementing cost-effective interventions. Dr Shapo has expertise in public health, health and social care integration, policy analysis and advocacy. He is adept at fostering strong partnerships and providing leadership to enhance healthcare services. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr Shapo has contributed to the public health response with a particular focus and leading the work on older adults, vaccination uptake, elements of health protection in supporting local care facilities. Dr Shapo have worked across different healthcare organisations in the UK and has international experience working in developing countries collaborating with health leaders including the WHO, UNDP, UNICEF, and DFID. Dr Shapo has published in reputable peer-review journals over the years and is on the Editorial Board of the Journal for Infection Disease Control.

Dr. Ana María Haro Martínez is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with more than 15 years of clinical and research experience. She holds a PhD in Medicine cum laude from the Autonomous University of Madrid and has worked at leading hospitals such as La Paz, Doce de Octubre, and Quirónsalud, as well as at centers with cutting-edge brain injury units. Her specialization in neurological rehabilitation is complemented by a solid research track record in neurology and cerebrovascular diseases, with high-impact international publications. She also has university teaching experience and training in public health, voice pathology, and music therapy, integrating an innovative and multidisciplinary approach.

As Global Chief Strategy Officer at VML Health, Nichole leads the integrated strategic disciplines globally, shaping how health consulting and strategy drive meaningful change in health. She founded and leads both the Patient Advocacy & Engagement Practice and the Health Equity Practice, ensuring that patient voices and equity considerations are at the heart of health innovation. With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Nichole has worked across oncology, immunology, rare disease, respiratory, women’s health, diabetes, nutrition, and health systems. She has led strategy for award-winning, policy-shaping initiatives, such as Cancer Currency with Europa Donna, which advanced dialogue and action in metastatic breast cancer. Before joining VML Health, Nichole led strategy across WPP’s health network and led brand consulting at Interbrand Health, playing a pivotal role in shaping the business and communications strategies of leading global health organizations. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at IPG and in management consulting, advising on transformation, early commercialization, and health innovation. Nichole has partnered with health institutions and industry leaders including ABC Global Alliance, Bayer, Alzheimer's Society, IMF, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Lilly, Macmillan Cancer Support, Sanofi, GSK, Migraine Trust, Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, and the Mayo Clinic—driving collaborations that strengthened patient outcomes and advanced standards of patient communication in partnership with bodies such as the Department of Health. She holds an honours degree in chemistry from UMIST and a postgraduate degree in marketing from London Business School and is also a Chartered Marketer. A passionate advocate for improving health equity and patient outcomes, Nichole brings a global, cross-sector perspective to how policy, strategy, industry and public health can work together to deliver lasting impact.

Dr. Katzman served his pediatric residency at the University of Chicago and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. After spending two years in the Navy, he entered a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Temple University Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He is also certified by the American College of Physician Executives as a Physician Executive. Over the years, he has published a number of papers in both Neonatology and Pediatrics, An initial interest in Human Relations Programs for Children in the 1980s evolved into an effort to understand the ways children are taught to hate and how such indoctrinations can be prevented.

Michelle L. Burbage, PhD is Director of the Master of Public Health Program and the Global Health Concentration at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and Co-Director of the Community Engagement Core of the Cincinnati Center for Climate and Health. Her work focuses on social determinants of health, risk factors, environmental health, and the impact of stigma and policy on health outcomes. Dr. Burbage has led international collaborations to strengthen global health systems, and she was recognized as a Fulbright Specialist and a French-American Foundation Young Leader. She has also received recognition from APHA and ISEE for her health education and community engaged research efforts.

John Wang is a professor in the Department of Information Management and Business Analytics at Montclair State University, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Temple University after receiving a scholarship to study in the U.S. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, he has received three special range adjustments beyond his tenured professorship. Dr. Wang serves as Editor-in-Chief for eleven Scopus-indexed journals, including the International Journal of Business Analytics and Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. He is also Editor of several major reference works, such as the Encyclopedia of Data Science and Machine Learning and the Encyclopedia of Business Analytics and Optimization. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and more than 20 books, and has created several software programs based on his research. His long-term research integrates Machine Learning, Operations Research, Data Mining, and Cybernetics to address complex decision-making problems.

Dr. Valerie Borum (she/her/hers) joined TMU as the Director of the School of Social Work in January 2020. Dr. Borum’s research and scholarship focus on the role of ethnoculture as a protective and promotive factor in health, mental health, and disabilities, with attention to populations of African descent. She studies the role of “whiteness” in undergirding anti-Black ideologies, incorporating Womanist and Afrocentric approaches.She completed her post-doctoral studies (e.g., suicide and ethnoculture) at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine, NY, and her Ph.D. from Howard University (Historically Black University), and her MSW (taught in American Sign Language). Born and raised in Chicago, IL, USA.

Dr. Laura Gabriela SARBU is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. She received a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2015. During the Ph.D. program she joined several times the Prof. dr. Henning Hopf research team in TU Braunschweig – Germany. She has more than 55 publications in peer-review journals and published 4 books. Also, is editorial board member in 25+ journals such as Advance in Medical and Clinical Research, Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Recerca, Chemical Glycobiology Journal, International Journal Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences - Green Chemistry, Journal of Molecular Biology and Drug Design.

Dr. Isaura Romero Peixoto is a physician and academic affiliated with the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and Afya Faculty of Medical Sciences of Jaboatão. She currently serves as a preceptor in Geriatrics, Nephrogeriatrics, and Active Aging at UFPE, and as a professor at Afya. She is also a Medical Auditor at Hospital das Clínicas. Dr. Peixoto holds a Medical Degree from UFPE, with multiple specializations including Geriatrics, Palliative Care, Cardiology, and Medical Auditing. She earned her Master’s and Doctorate in Medicine from UFPE and is currently pursuing a postdoctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering. Her research focuses on aging, biological age, HIV in older adults, and the application of artificial intelligence in clinical studies. She leads several ongoing projects related to active aging, chronic kidney disease, and early Alzheimer’s detection. Dr. Peixoto is a recognized leader in advancing geriatric medicine and improving outcomes for older populations.

Dr Wong is an occupational medicine specialist practicing at Sengkang General Hospital, a 1000-bed tertiary hospital in the Northeastern part of Singapore. He believes in the holistic management of workers’ safety and health which goes beyond just managing the hazards at work. It is also crucial to have a compressive and progressive workplace safety and health legislative framework to send the right message to all stakeholders, that we must do right by our workers. Through his engagements with both employers and patients, he strives to make workplaces that can improve the health of their workforce instead of becoming worse off as a result of work.

In 2003 he was selected as a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working with Professor Henning Hopf in TU Braunschweig - Germany. Since then numerous return fellowships were granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He has more than 125 publications in peer-review journals and published +45 books/book chapters (John Wiley & Sons, Thieme etc). Also, is editorial board member in more than 50 journals such as Applied Sciences, Arkivoc, BioChem, Edelweiss Chemical Science Journal, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design, Journal of Fine Chemical Engineering, Modern Approaches in Drug Designing, Pharmaceutical Toxicology.

Dr. David Bermejo‑Martínez is a lecturer at the University of León, where he teaches in the Nursing Degree and the Master’s in Health and Social Science Research. His teaching focuses on Community Nursing and Health Services Management, emphasizing a salutogenic approach to community health—promoting well-being and protective factors through the modification of social determinants of health. He holds a PhD jointly awarded by the Universities of A Coruña, Extremadura, and León. His main research interests include Social Network Analysis (SNA) and its application to public health issues related to men who have sex with men (MSM), chemsex practices, and unprotected sexual behavior. He is also an active member of the Spanish Community Nursing Association (AEC), serving as a representative for young professionals and students.

Dr. Wane has a PhD in Nursing Science as well as a master’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She also has undergraduate degrees in Nutrition and Nursing from Brooklyn College and Downstate Medical Center College of Nursing. Dr. Wane designed and developed the BSN program at Pasco-Hernando State College where she taught in nursing pre-licensure/post-licensure programs for over 32 years. She has published supplements in textbooks, as well as journal articles, and has served as an editorial board member and peer reviewer for several journal publications. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Currently, Dr. Wane is working as a Nurse Consultant.

Professor Dr. Luisa María Arvide Cambra is Chair Professor at the University of Almería (Spain), with over 44 years of teaching and research experience in Arabic science, medieval literature, and philology. She previously served as Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Granada.
She directs the research group HUM113–Estudios Filológicos, under the Andalusian Government, and is an active member of numerous academic bodies including the European Scientific Institute (ESI), ATINER (Greece), EAERC (Jordan), and others. Dr. Arvide Cambra has authored 17 books and over 100 scholarly articles on Arabic science, linguistics, and translations of classical Arabic texts such as Kitab al-Tasrif, Maqamat of Al-Hariri, and Ibn Khatima’s work on the plague.
Her achievements have been recognized globally with awards from the International Biographical Centre (UK), American Biographical Institute (USA), and honors from academic institutions in India, Palestine, and Argentina.

Dr. Siniša Franjić holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Law and Criminalistics/Forensics and an LL.M. in Law, with a thesis on the legal aspects of information systems. His academic and professional work spans medical law, health law, computer criminality, and forensic science. Over the years, he has taught courses at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, Croatia. Dr. Franjić has authored numerous books and research articles across disciplines such as law, medicine, and bioethics, and has contributed to international academic publications. His postdoctoral training in palliative care was completed at Universidad de Navarra, Spain. With a deep interdisciplinary approach, he remains an active voice in discussions around law, healthcare, and cybercrime.
