Dr. Zaida Rahaman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing at Brock University. She has over seven years of experience shaping global health partnerships and programs across multilateral organizations, governments, and private sector actors. Emma has held roles with COVAX at Gavi, the Clinton Health Initiative, and the Global Self-Care Federation, where she led initiatives ranging from vaccine allocation and procurement strategy to diagnostic optimization studies and global health industry policy.She regularly collaborates with organizations such as WHO, ministries of health, and private sector leaders to advance resilient health systems and equitable access to medical products. My commitment to environmental conservation stems from concerns that environmental pollution is a crucial element in determining disease causation and effects on human health. Both academia and work experiences have helped me to promote environmental health, awareness and choices in nutrition for a healthy and affordable lifestyle. I take into consideration the economic, social, cultural and current environmental approaches to evaluate pollution in an area, and utilize this data and information to help trace the pathways that often lead to disease. I keep learning about how connecting people to their environment is so important. We need to have a sense of place and a sense of belonging to adjust our every day choices and activities, sustainably and responsibly. We can do this together!

Professor Chimezie Anyakora is the Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Public Health Group. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and taught at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lagos for over a decade. He has also been involved in Public Health and Medicine Quality research. Prof. Chimezie Anyakora was the Nigeria Country Director for the United States Pharmacopeia. Prior to that he consulted for the Global Health Impact Program where he worked on Public Health projects across various African countries including Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, Malawi, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Congo Brazzaville and many more. He is very active at various public health regional initiatives on the continent. As the country lead of the United States Pharmacopeia and the Chief of Party of the Promoting the Quality of Medicines program in Nigeria Professor Anyakora led the development and execution of the overall project strategy in Nigeria. He is now leading Bloom Public Health Group and continues to advance Public Health on the continent especially in different African countries where Bloom Public Health has offices including Nigeria, Rwanda, Botswana, Zambia, Lesotho, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Cameroon. Lately he has been doing a lot in the vaccine space. Through Bloom Public Health Group he supported Nigeria in the development of the National Vaccine Policy and worked with the country on a WHO funded vaccine manufacturing ecosystem mapping. He is currently leading the localization of pharmaceutical manufacturing on the continent through various Bloom Public Health Group projects.

Chevair Mustafa is a maternal and reproductive health leader dedicated to advancing equitable, dignified care for birthing people. She has led region first initiatives, strengthened systemwide performance, and championed culturally responsive, patient centered models of care. Her work blends operational excellence, community partnership, and an equity driven practitioner scholar lens, positioning her as a national voice in humanizing maternity care and improving outcomes across diverse settings. Prof. Dr. Gulsen Meral graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 1994. SSbecame a Pediatrician in 2001 and served as a specialist physician, deputy chief physician, and chief physician at various hospitals. She completed her doctorate in Medical Genetics at Biruni University. She holds a master'sdegree in Hospital Management and a bachelor's degree in Turkish Language and Literature. She served as Advisor to the Rector at Northern Cyprus ITU between 2019 and 2021. She has taught Nutrigenetics at the postgraduatelevel and has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in child development.She is also an acupuncture instructor. She currently serves as a professor in the Department of Child Health and Diseases at Istanbul Nisantası University. I am internal medicine and family medicine specialist.I am currently employed at the Family Medicine Clinic in Opole, where I serve as a family doctor and the Chief Medical Officer. My responsibilities include improving the quality of medical care, mentoring young doctors, and providing health services to the residents of Opole. My primary area of interest in family medicine practice is diabetology and communication between doctors and patients. Therefore, I actively participate in conferences, training sessions, and webinars to continuously expand my knowledge and share it. Dr Declan McKeown is a Consultant in Public Health Medicine with the Irish Health Service Executive’s National Health Intelligence Unit. A native of Belfast and a medical graduate of Trinity College, Dublin, he worked in a number of hospitals before choosing a career in Public Health.He emigrated to Australia in 1993, working in a number of primary care practices in urban and outback settings. He became Medical Director of the Goldfields Public Health Unit in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia and completed Higher Specialist Training for Public Health in Melbourne in 1997. He returned to Ireland in 1998, as Public Health Specialist/Lecturer in the west of Ireland. Following three years as Director of Public Health, he moved to the Department of Health and Children, where he co-wrote the Irish Public Health Emergency Plan.He moved to the National Health Intelligence Unit in 2009 and has been involved in the development and roll-out of a number of the NQAIS projects (National Quality Assurance and Improvement System) which focus on hospital safety and quality improvement. He maintains a significant teaching commitment aimed at Specialist Registrars in Public Health Medicine and has a particular interest in measuring and mapping deprivation and related social indicators. During the COVID pandemic in Ireland, he assisted in the construction of Health Atlas’ real-time COVID dot map monitoring of active and recent cases, and the development of real-time COVID “heat mapping” to show incidence and change in incidence, thereby assisting in the control and containment of COVID “hot spots”.

Derrick Neal is the Chief Public Health Officer for the Cambridge Public Health Department, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Throughout his career, Derrick has demonstrated exceptional leadership ability, community engagement and collaboration, and competency managing local, state, and federal public health services and mandates in large public health departments. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of the Williamson County and Cities Health District in Round Rock, Texas. Before that, he spent three years as director of the Victoria County Public Health Department in Victoria, Texas, as well as three years as the director of the City of Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District in Texas. Additionally, Derrick spent a decade working for the City of Houston as an administration and special projects manager in the Public Works and Engineering Department and as the administrative supervisor of the city’s Health and Human Services Department. Derrick is the past president of the Texas Association of City and County Health Officials. He is a PhD candidate in public administration and has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois, Springfield.

Dr Javaid qualified from Cambridge University and completed his VTS training in Northampton. He has a specialist interest in cardiology and echocardiography and was a clinical lead in the Northamptonshire Community Cardiology service, which had a focus on patients with heart failure and valve disease. He was also the primary care Cardiovascular lead for the East Midlands Clinical Network from 2013-2020. He was named Pulse “GP of the Year” in 2015 for his work in reducing stroke emergency admissions in the East Midlands. He is on the editorial board for the British Journal of Cardiology and a trustee of Heart Valve Voice.

Dr Shapo is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience driving impactful improvements in healthcare. He has proven success in managing largescale population health projects, conducting evidence-based research, and implementing cost-effective interventions. Dr Shapo has expertise in public health, health and social care integration, policy analysis and advocacy. He is adept at fostering strong partnerships and providing leadership to enhance healthcare services. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr Shapo has contributed to the public health response with a particular focus and leading the work on older adults, vaccination uptake, elements of health protection in supporting local care facilities. Head of the Living Lab for Health at IrsiCaixa where she sets up and facilitates systems innovation partnerships where different stakeholders work on complex and persistent health challenges to increase their impact. Currently, we are working on food system transformation, mental health promotion, prevention of infectious diseases and long covid, among others. Within these partnerships, we promote citizen science processes with transdisciplinary and systems approaches. She teaches at different undergraduate and postgraduate degrees of the University of Barcelona and other universities, research organisations and innovation agencies and have already trained more than 6,500 researchers and innovators. With over 40 years in nursing, Lynette’s career spans pioneering roles from one of the UK’s first Primary Nurses and a Ward Sister at 24, to leading infection prevention and dedicating three decades to children’s nursing. She was among the first School Nurses in Wales with a Specialist Community Nursing degree and the first Community Practice Teacher in the field. Progressing into safeguarding, she became a Designated Nurse and later National Advisor for Children in Care at NHS England. She founded the West Midlands Trauma Vanguard, championing a co-produced, trauma-informed, and socially driven approach to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Beckie brings over 22 years’ experience in safeguarding, with a strong background in criminal justice and strategic roles within community-based young people’s drug and alcohol services. She has developed significant expertise in designing safe, effective specialist services, with a particular passion for co-production and empowering individuals to shape support around their needs. Beckie has also held Safeguarding Lead roles, leading quality assurance, complex audits, and data analysis to inform commissioning and service development. Beckie’s passion project is raising awareness for the need to change society’s current perceptions of victims and victim blaming; along with a drive to support organisations to develop their knowledge of trauma informed approaches.

Julie has dedicated her career to supporting vulnerable communities across the West Midlands, from coordinating legal services at Coventry Law Centre to improving outcomes as a Looked After Children’s Health Coordinator. She is now a key part of the West Midlands Trauma Vanguard, leading communications that bring clarity, compassion, and connection across complex systems. Known for translating complexity into meaningful messages, Julie plays a vital role in fostering collaboration and championing trauma-informed, people-centred approaches.

Emma has over 15 years’ experience working with vulnerable individuals, including children, families, people transitioning from prison, and women experiencing sexual exploitation. Through frontline and operational roles, she developed a strong understanding of the impact of trauma and the importance of safe, trauma-informed approaches. She went on to complete a Master’s in Trauma-Informed Practice, with a focus on supporting practitioners to build knowledge, reflective skills, and safe practice environments. As a Physical Fitness Educator, Lionell is deeply committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to take ownership of their health and wellbeing. Dr Jose Miguel Cabrera is an attending physician and researcher in the field of infectious diseases at Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol and BCN CheckPoint, a community-based sexual health centre. His work focuses on sexual health, including the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, as well as vaccination, research and community-based approaches to care. One of his main interests is bridging clinical medicine, public health and community health to improve access and outcomes in sexual health, specially in men who have sex with men and transgender persons.

Shravya Allena is an early-career public health researcher and Clinical Research Coordinator at the Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She currently leads a large multi-site translational clinical research initiative focused on validating HPV heterogeneity biomarkers in oropharyngeal cancer. In this role, she oversees scientific coordination, sample collection, protocol standardization, and data harmonization across partner institutions in the United States and Europe. Trained as a dentist and public health professional, her work reflects a deep commitment to bridging clinical and population health through evidence-based and implementation-driven approaches. Her interdisciplinary experience spans implementation science, community-based interventions, and translational oncology. She has contributed to projects addressing youth-led COVID-19 self-testing strategies, behavioral health service integration, and music-based interventions for hypertension prevention among African youth. At Washington University, she also served as President of Cells to Society, a student-led journal club dedicated to translating complex research into accessible and ethically grounded public dialogue. Her ongoing efforts aim to strengthen the continuum between discovery and delivery, ensuring that innovations developed research settings translate meaningfully into improved health outcomes and equitable systems of care worldwide.

Kathleen Donaldson is the co-author of the Trusted Adult Program and co- creator of The Culture Lab: Transforming Leadership Teams to Build Healing-Centered Juvenile Rehabilitation Environments. A mental health educator, trauma-informed care trainer, peer support specialist, and wellness coach, Kathleen is redefining how public systems care for the well-being of both staff and youth.Her work stands at the intersection of neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and social justice, helping leaders build workplaces that heal rather than harm. Through The Culture Lab, Kathleen partners with juvenile rehabilitation facilities and community organizations to transform leadership culture, reduce burnout, and create emotionally intelligent systems rooted in belonging and trust.Believing that prevention begins with human connection, Kathleen’s programs equip adults and youth with practical tools to regulate, relate, and respond, not react, even in high-stakes environments. Dr. Zorka Inić was born on December 4, 1981. During her sixteen years of work at the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia in Belgrade, she has independently performed a large number of surgeries, primarily for breast cancer, followed by thyroid and parathyroid tumors, melanoma, and other skin cancers, as well as sarcoma surgeries. She passed the oral doctoral exam in Oncology on February 18, 2011. and on December 22, 2015, she completed her doctoral academic studies with the dissertation

Amy has been in the industry for more than 18 years working across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Her experience includes Phase I, II and III studies, observational, pediatrics and devices. She has experience in global trials, leading and motivating cross-functional teams from feasibility and start up activities through closeout. She has managed and overseen projects varying in size from just a handful of sites to multiple sites across more than 20 countries. Amy’s most recent experience includes leading a large global oncology across 6 countries.
