Dr. Bhalli received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology in 2009 from the National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (NIBGE), Pakistanin a collaborative program between NIBGE, Pakistan and University Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain. In 2009, Dr. Bhalli joinedNational Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as postdoctoral fellow. He is among the pioneers who developedan in vivo gene mutation assay in rodents called the Pig-a assay, using an X-linked gene (PIG) as a reporter gene. This assay is now a regulatory assay with OECD test guidelines (OECD TG 470). Dr. Bhalli joined Covance Laboratories in 2012 and worked as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the in vivo genetox assays. Dr. Bhalli joined Millipore Sigma in 2017 as Associate Director and lead the team of GeneTox scientists to expand and grow business. In 2018, he moved back to Covance (now LabCorp)and joined Safety Assessment (General Toxicology) team as Sr. Study Director. He led regulatory and non-regulatory studies in small and large animals from small and large molecules. Dr. Bhalli joined Frontage Laboratories in September 2021 as Director of Safety and Toxicology. He is currently working as Vice President of Safety and Toxicology at Frontage Laboratories. His area of interest for the past 15 years has been pre-clinical drug development with focus on toxicology and safety assessment of the potential drug candidates. Dr. Bhalli is a Board-Certified Toxicologist (DABT)with the American Board of Toxicology and European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) with Royal Society of Biology, UK. Dr. Bhalli is an active member of the US Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS), Society of Toxicology (SOT), and American College of Toxicology. He is editorial board member of the journal of Environmental and Molecular Mutagenesis (EMM). He has published over fifty research papers and book chapters in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta is a Professor and holds Carter Kissell Endowed Chair in Urologic Oncology in the Department of Urology at Case Western Reserve University and the position of Research Director at the Urology Institute, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He also holds secondary appointments in the Departments of Pharmacology, Pathology, Nutrition and Division of General Medical Sciences at Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Gupta had a joint appointment as Research Scientist from 2015 to 2020 at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Gupta obtained faculty position in 2002 at Case Western Reserve University, School of Medicine. Dr. Gupta’s research involves basic, translational and clinical areas of focus. In basic research his focus is to understand the risk factors and mechanisms of prostatic, breast, kidney and bladder diseases and develop appropriate biomarkers for early detection and prognosis. Translational research focus is to identify novel targets to monitor the efficacy of various synthetic and natural small molecules and develop them as chemo preventatives/therapeutics. His clinical research interests are translation of bench research to its application in clinics. Dr. Gupta has authored over 200 publications, including book chapters, research articles, and reviews. He has been an invited speaker at numerous cancer prevention symposiums, seminars, and conferences both nationally and internationally. Throughout his career, he has secured over $20 million in funding from federal, non-federal, and private organizations.Dr. Gupta has contributed to various study sections at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the Department of Defense (DOD), and other global councils. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief and as a member of the editorial boards for several esteemed scientific journals. His pioneering research in basic and translational sciences has been featured on NBC-5 News and highlighted in The Plain Dealer, as well as in press releases from the American Association for Cancer Research and the American Urological Association.

Lyudmyla Symochko is an expert in environmental microbiology and ecology, holding a PhD in Ecology (2005) and later a habilitation in biodiversity conservation. As a Professor and Researcher at the University of Coimbra, she leads research on emerging contaminants and their toxicological risks to ecosystems and human health. She has authored over 200 scientific publications, edited five books, and has delivered more than 90 presentations at national and international conferences, including keynote lectures.Prof. Symochko serves as a guest editor for several international journals, shaping research discourse on microbial ecology, antibiotic resistance, and environmental sustainability. Lyudmyla Symochko is also a member of the Global Soil Biodiversity Initiative, the Society for Microbial Ecology and Diseases, the Belgian Society for Microbiology. Additionally, she serves as General Secretary of the International Council of Environmental Engineering Education.

Dr. Sasha Shafikhani completed his undergraduate and doctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. He is currently a Professor and the Director of Microbiome Research in the Department of Dermatology at UC Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Shafikhani has served on the editorial boards of 13 scientific journals and is currently an Associate Editor for Frontiers in Microbiology and Scientific Reports. Additionally, he has contributed to grants evaluation panels for prominent organizations such as National Institutes of Health (NIH), NASA, European Science Foundation (ESF), and various other national and international research funding agencies.As a cellular microbiologist, Dr. Shafikhani leads research projects focusing on host/pathogen interaction, normal and chronic wound healing, and cancer biology. His research has been supported by grants from NIH, philanthropic funds, and institutional grants.

Dr. Eswar Shankar is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Division of Medical Oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC) since 2021. A cancer researcher and former caregiver, he brings a compassionate, translational perspective to oncology. Dr. Shankar earned his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2004. He previously worked as a clinical biochemist and in pharmaceutical quality assurance in India. He completed postdoctoral training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and served as a research scientist at Case Western Reserve University. For over 20 years, his research has focused on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms of cancer initiation, metastasis, and therapy resistance—particularly involving the histone methyltransferase EZH2. His current work includes: Targeting EZH2 in triple-negative breast cancer, prostate cancer, and as a liquid biopsy biomarker in glioblastoma and lung cancer. Investigating redox imbalance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) via the KEAP1-NRF2 axis using the novel molecule VVD-065, in collaboration with Dr. Christin Rolfo’s team. As Principal Investigator, Dr. Shankar leads efforts to restore NRF2 regulation, understand its epigenetic drivers, and identify predictive biomarkers. Passionate about patient-centered cancer care and mentoring future researchers, his work bridges scientific innovation and compassionate care.

Dr. Zhiling Yu holds a BSc degree in traditional Chinese medicine and a PhD degree in biochemistry. Dr. Yu is known for his research in herbal pharmacology, focusing on anti-atopic dermatitis, anti-rheumatic, and anticancer herbs. He is also interested in processing of Chinese medicinal materials. Dr. Stanley Odinaka Aniagu, MSc, Ph.D., RPh, DABT is a board-certified toxicologist and licensed pharmacist with over 25 years of experience in regulatory and mechanistic toxicology. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Molecular Toxicology from the University of Birmingham, UK, and currently serves as Toxicologist II at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. His work focuses on deriving toxicity factors, assessing environmental health risks, and reviewing air permit applications. A Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology, Dr. Aniagu has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and is an active member of the Society of Toxicology. His expertise bridges environmental science, public health, and pharmaceutical care.

Dr. Mihail Lucian Birsa is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. In 2003 he was selected as a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working with Professor Henning Hopf in TU Braunschweig - Germany. Since then numerous return fellowships were granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He has more than 125 publications in peer-review journals and published +45 books/book chapters (John Wiley & Sons, Thieme etc). Also, is editorial board member in more than 50 journals such as Applied Sciences, Arkivoc, BioChem, Edelweiss Chemical Science Journal, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design, Journal of Fine Chemical Engineering, Modern Approaches in Drug Designing, Pharmaceutical Toxicology.

Dr. Laura Gabriela SARBU is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. She received a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2015. During the Ph.D. program she joined several times the Prof. dr. Henning Hopf research team in TU Braunschweig – Germany. She has more than 55 publications in peer-review journals and published 4 books. Also, is editorial board member in 25+ journals such as Advance in Medical and Clinical Research, Annals of Clinical and Laboratory Recerca, Chemical Glycobiology Journal, International Journal Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry, Journal of Biomedical Research & Environmental Sciences - Green Chemistry, Journal of Molecular Biology and Drug Design.

Sinisa Franjic graduated from the Faculty of Law. The thesis entitled "Legal aspects of information systems" was defended Summa Cum Laude and he became LLM of Law. Since 1992., he work as a journalist - freelance contributor to the first Radio Osijek of HRT (Croatian Radio Television), and then something shorter, among other media, he worked for HTV - TV center Osijek, weekly "Školske novine (School Newspaper)“ and the monthly "Super Kino Video (Super Cinema Video)". In the academic year 2009./2010., Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek (today Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology Osijek) he was appointed part-time assistant on the course "Computer Criminality". With Computer Criminality, he is studying Medical Law and a few other legal disciplines. In the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Osijek he participated in the teaching of the courses "Computer Criminality" and "Legal Regulations in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science" and in the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, he participated in the teaching of the courses "Social and Health Legislation" and "Medicine and Health Law". After successfully defending his doctoral dissertation on the topic of criminal law called "The Criminal Justice and Forensic Aspects of Computer Criminality", he received a Ph.D. degree in Criminal law and Criminalistics/Forensics. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmet Yılmaz is a faculty member in the Department of Pharmacology at Inönü University, Türkiye. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology-Toxicology from Selçuk University and a veterinary medicine degree from Fırat University. His research focuses on pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, bioequivalence, and the pharmacological effects of natural compounds. Dr. Yılmaz has published extensively in international journals indexed in SCI/SCI-E, with notable work on liver regeneration, drug safety, and the protective effects of phytochemicals.
