Tomáš Hájek is a member of Association of Writers of the CR, Sexological Society of J.E.P. Czech Medical Society, International Association of Landscape Archaeology, Associazione internazionale mosaicisti contemporanei, Economic and Social Council of the Most Region, and the Czech Glass Society. He is a Founding member of the Moravian and Silesian Christian Academy and in 2019, he received the certificate of conversion to modern orthodox Judaism (State of Israel). From 1998 to 2005, he worked at the Ministry of Environment of the CR; during 2000-2003 as the head of a separate department of ecology of urbanised areas and tourism, during 2004-2005 as an advisor to the Minister for the environment and cultural heritage. In 2003, he was appointed a member of the Czech Commission for UNESCO in the ad personam category. In 2006, he was the General Director of the National Institute for the Protection and Conservation of Monuments and Sites.

Dr. Cătălin Popescu is Professor of Management at the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania. His research and consulting interests include project management, quantitative methods for business and management, operations management, statistical analysis, energy management, and sustainable development. In 1991, he received a degree in Engineering, a degree in Management (2000), and a PhD (2001) in Automated Systems concerning the modeling and simulation of production systems from the University of Oil and Gas in Ploiesti, Romania. He has 33 years of experience in higher education. Since 2016, he has been a PhD advisor in the Engineering and Management domain. Dr. Popescu has published over 240 articles, as well as nine books and 15 book chapters; he has participated in 45 international conferences (in more than 27 different countries); and he was involved in more than 35 scientific research grants and international projects. He was also a member of scientific committees spanning more than 50 international conferences, and he was plenary speaker six times. He is Editor-in-Chief of two scientific journals: Journal of Innovation and Business Best Practices (JIBBP), Stamford Publishing, USA, and Economic Insights Trends and Challenges Journal, Romania.

Professor Emeritus Han-Yong Jeon is a geosynthetics/technical organic materials researcher of Inha University, Incheon, South Korea. Since 1998, he is the director of Geosynthetics Institute Korea Directory and has worked in International Geosynthetics Society as Council member (2008~2012) and the 6th president of Korean Geosynthetics Society (2011~2013) and the 32nd President of Korean Fiber Society (2014~2015). He has published more than 1,145 proceedings in the domestic and international conferences and published 230 papers including “Bending Strength Evaluation of Three Dimensional Double Rachel Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mat (GCCM) under Environmental Conditions”, applied sciences, 13, 11271, 2024 in domestic & international journals. He has awards of Marquis Who'sWho - Science and Engineering in 2003~2017 and Top 100 Scientists in the World: 2005/2011 of IBC (International Biographical Centre, UK). Also, he got the 33rd Academy Award of Korean Fiber Society in 2006 and “Excellent Paper Award of 2012” by The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies. Besides this, he got the 33rd Academy Award (The Korean Fiber Society), 2006 and the Best Publication Award (Korea Association of Technical Textile Industry), 2017 and the 41st Prize of Jung-Hun Textile Industry (Academy Award), 2020, and is the winner of the 2021 KCA Outstanding Professional Awards (Korea Consumer Association). Also, he was received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (Marquis Who’swho, USA), 2021.

Dongping Song is Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Liverpool Management School. He holds a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering from Newcastle University and is a Senior Member of IEEE. His research focuses on applying mathematical modelling, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to supply chain, logistics, and transportation systems, with a particular emphasis on sustainability performance. His recent research projects, funded by EPSRC and ESRC, focus on maritime decarbonization and urban sustainable mobility. Professor Song serves as an Associate Editor for Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review (TRE) and the International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics (IJSTL). He is the author of several books, including Optimal Control and Optimization of Stochastic Supply Chain Systems (Springer, 2013) and Container Logistics and Maritime Transport (Routledge, 2021).

Gianluca Maracchini is an Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering at the University of Trento (Italy). His research focuses on building performance optimization, life-cycle assessment (LCA/LCC), and user-centered climate-resilient retrofit strategies for the decarbonization and adaptation of buildings and cities. He leads several research projects on these topics and has contributed to European programs, including H2020 and Horizon Europe projects. Firas AL MAHMOUD is full professor. He holds a Ph.D. in strengthening reinforced concrete structures from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA), Toulouse, France. Accreditation to supervise research (HDR) (2016). Prof. Firas AL MAHMOUD currently works at Lorraine University in France as a structural engineering educator. He teaches at several engineering schools. He was the Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Lorraine University from the 2017 – 2020 academic year. Dr. Assma EL KADDOURI holds a Ph.D. in Materials, Mechanics, and Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Electrochemistry, awarded in 2014 from the University of Grenoble. Dan Dobrotă is a Full Professor at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Machine Building Technology in 1994 and subsequently obtained a Ph.D. in the field of Materials Technology in 1998, both from the University of Craiova, Romania. In addition, he completed a second Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance in 2004 at Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu Jiu, România. In 2013, he successfully defended his habilitation thesis in the field of Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. He was promoted to the rank of Full Professor in 2007. Professor Dobrotă has authored over 137 scientific publications, with more than 104 articles published in international journals indexed by the Web of Science. He serves as a reviewer for 52 Web of Science-indexed journals, including Journal of Cleaner Production, Materials, and Polymers, 65 of which are ranked in the top quartile (Q1). Libor Pekař is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, and the Department of Technical Studies, College of Polytechnics Jihlava, Czechia. He also serves as a temporary Guest Professor at the Frost Lab of the Beijing Institute of Technology, China. Assoc. Prof. Pekař is the author of two books and eight book chapters and (co-)author of more than 50 journal articles and 80 conference papers. His research interests include analysis, modeling, identification, and control of time-delay systems, algebraic control methods, heat-exchanger processes, relay-based autotuning, and optimization techniques. Junhong Xu is currently an associate professor in the school of civil engineering, Nanjing Forestry University, China. She graduated from Southeast University in 2016 with a Ph.D. Her research interests include mechanical metamaterials, additive manufacturing, mechanics of materials, high-performance nanocomposites, structural vibration control, disaster prevention and mitigation projects and so on. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal papers. She is the inventor of 10 patents on novel structural technologies. She has led 9 scientific research and educational reform projects, including the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Jiangsu Provincial Education Reform Project (top priority). Pierluigi Siano (M’09–SM'14) received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information and electrical engineering from the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He is a Full Professor of Electrical Power Systems and Scientific Director of the Smart Grids and Smart Cities Laboratory with the Department of Management & Innovation Systems, University of Salerno. His research activities are centered on demand response, energy management, the integration of distributed energy resources into smart grids, and electricity markets, and the planning and management of power systems. In these fields, he has co-authored 8 international books, more than 800 articles including over 500 articles in international journals, which have received more than 25900 citations on Scopus, achieving an H-index of 78. Since 2019, he has been awarded as a Highly Cited Researcher by the Web of Science Group. He has been the Chair of the IES TC on Smart Grids. Ibrahim Aliskan received his MSc and PhD in automatic control, from Yildiz Technical University, Graduate School of Science and Engineering in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Control and Automation Engineering, Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Türkiye. His research interests include control of electrical machines, modeling and control of power electronic circuits, and advanced control algorithms, especially Model Predictive Control (MPC) algorithms, system identification, artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic control and heuristics.

Dr. Xingxing Huang, Chief Scientist at Future Energy Research Institute of S.C.I.Energy (Swiss) in Zurich, Switzerland. With nearly 20 years of experience in sustainability and renewable energy, particularly in hydropower, his research focuses on industrial digitalization, with a special emphasis on applying digital twin technologies across the entire product lifecycle of renewable energy systems. His work aims to improve the stability, durability, and efficiency of power system components. He has published approximately 80 original research papers, delivered keynote speeches, served as a scientific committee member and chair for multiple international academic symposiums on renewable energy, and acted as a guest editor for several SCI journals.

Keh-Chin Chang completed his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, in U.S.A., in 1984. He worked shortly at Argonne National Laboratory, U.S.A. In 1986, he moved back to Taiwan and joined the National Cheng Kung University. Dr. Chang became Professor in 1991 and remained there until retirement in 2022. He is now the professor emeritus of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics as well as the International Program of Energy Engineering. Dr. Chang assumed the editor-in-chief of Journal of Aeronautics, Astronautics and Aviation (formerly Transactions of Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of Republic of China) from 2000 to 2006. He is a Fellow of the Aeronautical and Astronautical Society of China (Taiwan). Dr. Chang has authored and coauthored over 200 archival articles. His current research topics cover theoretical and experimental study on two-phase turbulent flows, solar thermal applications, solar resources in Taiwan, etc.

Dr. Miguel Nuno Miranda is Researcher at National Laboratory of Engineering and Geology (LNEG) – Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency Unit (UEREE) and Solar Energy Unit (UES) Dr. Miguel Nuno Miranda received the degree in Energetic Engineering (University Autonomous of Lisbon) in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree in Environmental Science (University of Aveiro) in 2009, Portugal. Dr. Miguel Miranda has authored more than 60 scientific works (including chapters, papers in international journals and book of proceedings, and poster presentations) and his commitment to working at interdisciplinary boundaries is evidenced by his involvement as Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals as well as in International Conferences as Organizing Committee Member. His main research interests include waste management and/or valorization of different materials through thermochemical conversion processes, production of fuels and biofuels and solar energy concentration (SEC) solutions towards the production of solar fuels.
