Depending on your nationality, you may require a Schengen Short-Stay Visa (Type C) to enter the Czech Republic for conference attendance, business, or academic purposes.

  • EU/EEA/Swiss Citizens: No visa is required to enter the Czech Republic.
  • Non-EU/EEA Nationals: May require a Schengen visa for stays of up to 90 days.
  • Visa-Exempt Countries: Citizens of countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and several others may enter the Schengen Area visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

🔹 How to Apply for a Visa

  1. Locate the nearest Czech Republic Embassy or Consulate in your country.
  2. Prepare the required documents:
    • Valid passport (with at least 3 months validity beyond your intended stay)
    • Completed visa application form
    • Recent passport-sized photographs
    • Proof of financial means (bank statements, salary slips, sponsorship letter, etc.)
    • Conference invitation letter (available upon request)
    • Travel and medical insurance
    • Proof of accommodation and travel itinerary (if applicable)
  3. Schedule an appointment and attend your visa interview.
